Visit EBLEX at Food and Drink Expo, 21st to 24th March

This year’s Food & Drink Expo is set to be great occasion as EBLEX, along with a host of companies, get together under one roof to celebrate all things food and drink.

 

The EBLEX trade marketing team will be on hand at stand N111 helping to add value to your business. Suppliers, wholesalers, multiple and independent retailers as well as foodservice operators are all welcome to join the team at the stand to discuss everything from specific requirements to simply finding out more about the Quality Standard Scheme and how it can benefit your business.

 

Visitors to the stand will also be able to find out more about Assured Food Standards (AFS) Red Tractor scheme. EBLEX is working in partnership with AFS to exploit the market opportunities for quality beef and lamb, and members of the team will be available to answer any queries or provide further information.

 

EBLEX will also be unveiling a number of new initiatives including:

  • www.eblextrade.co.uk: our brand new website for retailers and caterers. Packed with a host of useful information, the EBLEX team will be on hand to demonstrate the many business support features contained within the site;
  • The latest category report, ‘Maintaining Quality, Improving Value: Challenge and Opportunity for Beef and Lamb in the Foodservice Market’ packed full of useful insights for those in the foodservice industry;
  • England’s Best Burger Challenge competition 2010 – open to manufacturers and independent butchers or caterers. Entry forms will be available on the stand so make sure you pick up a copy and don’t miss out on the possibility of being crowned champion later in the year!   • A new Halal Cutting Guide developed specifically for those in the Halal market. Come and see supply chain project manager Dick van Leeuwen for more information;
  • And for independent retailers who are members of the Quality Standard scheme, there is the chance to find out about a new quarterly promotion aimed at boosting sales of underutilised cuts. Retail project manager, Mike Whittemore, will be on hand with further information.
